We offer the following three methods for retrieval of medical records that require coding:
- We will place a Scan Operator in your medical records office who will scan, on a daily basis, all required medical records for coding
- We will electronically access your electronic health records system via a secure VPN connection and download all necessary medical records for coding, or
- We will train an in-house staff member to scan and transfer files via secure FTP to HealthQuist’s office.
Our coders will retrieve and code the medical records on a daily basis. Our turnaround times of at least 48-hours from the time we receive the medical records will assist your billing department in sending claims to the insurance company in a timely fashion.
